Pastor TrVera L. Williams
A native of Jamestown South Carolina, Pastor TrVera L Williams, was born to Deacon and Asst Pastor- Evangelist Grythellda Williams and is the youngest of 6 Children. She received her spiritual guidance growing up in Jehovah Holiness Church, Shulerville, South Carolina. She was very active in Youth Ministry, Music Ministry and Oratorical Activities.
She graduated from 4th in her senior class at Macedonia High School and obtained various scholarships in academics, thus opening the door for her to attend Newberry College, Newberry, South Carolina. Her diligence and mindset of excellency was recognized on several occasions and in several different areas of her college career. She received various awards and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in both Psychology/French.
After undergraduate, she was accepted into the Medical University of South Carolina, Greenville Campus. She graduated with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science/Physical Therapy. After being in the upstate for schooling, the Lord guided her to remain in this area.
While in Greenville in addition to being in Medical School, she became an active member of New Harvest Ministries, C.O.G.I.C where she received her Evangelism license. She held the positions of Sunday school teacher for youth and adults, women’s department treasurer, Lady Elect Evangelist of the Upstate District, and Lead Keyboardist for the church as well as the District.
In her calling of Evangelism as well as being Minister of Music, God called her to assist in various capacities at other churches in the upstate such as Abundant Life Church of God along with Bethel Full Gospel Baptist Church. She has assisted in the capacity of ministry of the Gospel, administrative duties and music. She worked with both youth and adults. TrVera has been instrumental in revamping music departments, helping with vision teams, assisting in counseling capacities, working with the altar ministry, and community outreach.
In 2004, TrVera founded Serenity Rehab and Wellness Center, Physical therapy facility in and continued to run this establishment until the Lord led her to transition into full time ministry in April 2015. After working in the entrepreneur arena as well as continuing with ministry, God led her to attend Trinity Seminary and Theological School where she has already completed a Certification in Biblical Counseling.
While operating Serenity through the leading of the Holy Spirit, TrVera became an Ordained Elder and was installed as Pastor. She assisted as Interim Pastor at World Wide Gospel Ministry in Greer, South Carolina for a period of time.
In November 2013, she founded U Turn for Christ Evangelistic Ministries, Inc., Non-denominational church, located in the Berea area of Greenville. The Church actually began worshipping in the gym area of Serenity Rehab and Wellness Center Winter of 2013. She emphasizes the spirit of excellence in the church and in the community. In addition to pastoring, she helps mentor other leaders and those in ministry.
In addition to pastoring and business development, she is a singer, a song writer, an author, a musician, a mentor, and an entrepreneur. TrVera has had one of her poems published in 2005, in the Book “Great Poems of the Western World.” In 2009, Her Song Entitled “Renew” was included and published in the HillTop Praise and Worship Songbook in 2009. In 2017, she continued in this area and became the Author of “A Journey with a Promise,” book of poems as well as recording an Inspirational Scripture and Prayer CD, entitled, “Worship in the Word with Anointed Keys.”
In Community Outreach, Pastor William along with several women from U Turn for Christ Evangelistic Ministries was involved with teaching and ministering to the Women at Heart of Hannah Women and Recovery Center by teaching Bible Studies and Leading their praise and worship service. She has also been instrumental in helping to mentor the SC Upstate Redhawks Men’s Basketball Team in its developmental stage. In addition to mentoring, she assisted with coaching and training for several years from 2015 to 2017.
No matter what academia or politics brings, TrVera, was brought up on this Scripture: “Seek ye 1st the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” She is determined that no degree, titles, or positions, can take the place of God being 1st and foremost in her life.
